 Prussian Charles Daly (H.A.L) Model 120 12Ga.

Description:
Description:

Prussian Charles Daly (12 ga.) Grade 120 Serial No. 854 (Antique) "Crossed Pistols"
Heinrich A. Lindner gun imported by Schoverling, Daly & Gales for the American market.
Very nice Daly no hidden repairs, tight on face......no welding on the hook, original nice horn buttplate, barrels ring beautifully.
Notice the water tables are unmarred by amateur takedown and assembly. The refinished  chain link Damascus barrels
look like the original finished barrels. I believe these were done by the late Dale Edmonds who had no equal when
it came to Damascus refinish work....a true master.
Small 1" long chip to lower tang left side wood ...original chip epoxied in place....invisible to the untrained eye.
Very well cared for by previous owner who took pride in his Daly.
I shot roosters in North Dakota with my friend Ross Munson  who has gone on to the happy hunting grounds,
those of you in the gun collecting world who came in contact with him remembers what a great guy he was.
....this was a favorite gun of his.

Barrel and stock measurements, 30" barrels, and it still has the original 2 5/8" chambers!!!!!!! The "EXPERTS" haven't
had their hands on this gun and cobbled up them up yet.  Chokes L/R .029/.008 1 5/8" DAC 2 3/4" DAH
These early 3 digit guns had near flawless wood unlike later low grade Dalys which (sometimes) had stocks with
an inlay-filled flaw.
LOP 14 3/16" weight 7lbs 11 oz.
Condition: Excellent with bright bores and re-finished Damascus barrels.
Nice original wood finish with
no buffing steel wool or sanding to wood.
I'm a long time collector and age requires some reduction in the number of guns I'm watching!
