Smith and Wesson Model 29-2 in 8 3/8 in barrel! Serial Number places its manufacturing to somewhere in the late 1970s. Still has BEAUTIFUL orginal bluing and case-color hardening. The gun seems to have been hardly shot. Original grips are in immaculate condition. Bore is in amazing shape with no signs of rust or pitting. There is a small area on the cylinder that is either surface rust or just discoloration of bluing (see photo). There is light surfaces scratches throughout but very common for being almost 50 years old. I have never shot the gun myself just kept it clean and as a safe queen.
