Description:
Selling a nice pre-64 Model 70 in 300 H&H mag. made in 1958. I'd call the condition to be an honest 85%. A few dings in the wood, normal chipping to the finish around the buttplate and sharp checkering. The metal has nice deep bluing on the barrel and receiver. There are some spots of wear along the length of the barrel, signs of scope mounting, and the bottom metal has frosting along the edges, with some heavier around the rear action screw.
I will only ship within the continental US. The gun will ship via USPS priority mail, insured. I need a copy of your local dealers FFL, or a copy of your C&R. I accept personal checks, cashiers checks, or money orders (all held until cleared).
I take great care in packaging and the rifle will be shipped in a custom made box with a rigid styrofoam insert cut specifically for this rifle.
