27 1/2" SxS dovetail barrels with smooth concave ribs both choked improved cylinder & modified. 14 1/2" pull from front triggers to checkered wood butts. 1 5/8" - 2 1/4" drops. 3/8" cast off. Lightly figured European walnut stocks with snap-fastened splinter forends, straight English grips, classic point-pattern checkering, and vacant silver initial ovals. Scroll engraved boxlock actions with sideplates and Greener crossbolts, and automatic top tang safeties. Each weighs 5lbs, 15oz. Consecutively numbered and with components engraves 1 and 2. Chambers lengthened to 2 3/4" and Birmingham reproved in 2004---with original proof certificates. Barrels and furniture reblued to 100%. Traces original casehardening colors. Tight and with ejectors in time. In leather double trunk case with maker's label.
