This Sako L579, chambered in .243 Winchester, is a classic mid-1960s bolt-action rifle known for its smooth action and excellent build quality. It features a 24-inch bull barrel, weighs approximately 10 pounds, has a 14.5-inch length of pull, and an internal magazine with a capacity of four. Mounted to the rifle is a Balvar 8A 2.5–8x optic, complementing its traditional sporting configuration. The rifle is in very good condition and represents a well-kept example of Sako's highly regarded L-series sporters.
