Description:
28" SxS dovetail barrels with smooth concave rib, choked cylinder & improved modified. 14 3/8"pull from front trigger to striated wood butt. 1 1/2" - 2 1/8" drop. No cast. Lightly figured European walnut stocks with Anson pushbutton-release splinter forend, straight English grip, classic point-pattern checkering and vacant silver initial oval. Border scroll engraved casehardened action with bushed firing pins, double triggers, and automatic top tang safety with SAFE inlaid in gold. Built ca 1905 - 9, likely by Webley & Scott. Weight: 6lbs, 2 1/4oz. Chambers lengthened from 2 1/2" and Birmingham reproofed in 1996. Excellent bores. Ejectors in time. In newer English leather VC case with maker's label, accessories, and heavy canvas overcase.
