Description:
This Sig Sauer P225 is a compact, single-stack semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9 MM Parabellum, originally developed in the 1970s as a more concealable variant of the P220 and notably adapted by West German police as the P6 due to its reliability and robust construction. It features a traditional double-action/single-action trigger system with a decocking lever, an alloy frame, and a single-column magazine holding eight rounds, making it well-suited for Law Enforcement and concealed carry applications. The modern P225-A1 variant, reintroduced with enhancements such as a short-reset trigger, improved ergonomics maintains the classic design's reputation for accuracy, durability, and smooth operation.
