Description:
Serial #130975, .22 S,L,LR, 9 5/8 inch barrel with a near excellent bright bore with a few minor pits at the midpoint and strong rifling. This is the Harrington & Richardson Arms Company "Hunter Model" small frame revolver. This series of revolver was manufactured from 1926-1929. In excellent condition the metal surfaces retain about 96-98% original blue showing scattered light edge wear and some freckling on the topstrap and barrel with a small scratch on the right frame. The hammer shows slightly muted case-colors and the checkered walnut sawhandle grip rates very good showing light dings and handling marks. It retains its original front sight blade which shows fine oxidation and perhaps 30% of the original gold plating, all markings remain crisp; it appears to function well mechanically with sound timing and lockup. A very seldom seen long round barrel Hunter Model. FFL or C&R
