About Us: Private Seller, not an FFL. Excellent personal rating/reviews on VAGT, trying out GI for first time for collector type item interest sale. Face to Face cash sale in VA is preferred over shipping involved sale. Seller retains the option to refuse offers/purchase involving shipping necessity. I had 2 different dealers in collectable shotguns at the last Chantilly show give me their opinions on condition and value.
Their opinion results were: "85-90% condition.
I am not an expert, just sharing what I have been told by dealers who appear to be experts w eyes on inspection opinion.

Ithaca were each custom made to order by hand back in the day.
I have been told this one has some unique/odd features, like barrel length and both barrels same improved choke, Ithaca pad..
Original, matching numbers, I have only lightly cleaned it w oil/gun cleaner.
Has the original owner's name engraved on inlaid gold shield on butt stock.
1 of 560 Ithaca models manufactured in 1927, as I understand.
I have not yet found reference to how many of the 560 made were 12ga and 4E vs other ga and configuration.
I am not so much into collectors, unless a family related pass down.
This came from a friend of family estate.
So I am willing to let it go to someone who appreciates such a collector item.
