The Republic 1911 – 45 ACP – 5" Barrel – Limited Edition – Beautiful
When it comes to beautiful commemorative 1911 pistols, there’s a new sheriff in town. Tisas has rolled out this absolutely gorgeous limited edition 1911 that commemorates the date of Texas independence from Mexico. Limited to 1836 pistols, Tisas really hit the mark on this one. Our pistol is serial number T0620-23Z08184 and it looks to be in Near Mint – Mint condition.
This model has a 5 inch barrel, a magazine capacity of 8+1 and Series 70 internals. The slide has a rounded top, rear cocking serrations and very attractive engraving. The trigger is skeletonized and has an adjustment screw.
Our pistol is currently wearing after market wood grips that are half checkered with the lower portion being simulated ivory. Take a good look at them because they look fantastic! Not to worry if you want the original wooden grips as they are included in the box.
The manual safety is an ambi variety and like most 1911s there is the grip safety. The rear Novak-type sights are blacked out and the front sight has a brass bead insert.
The bore and barrel are Minty and the rifling is sharp and crisp. The frame, slide and grips are all in Near Mint – Mint condition.
