Remington model 11 "The Sportsman" in 20ga.
Early 4-digit serial number "The Sportsman" model 11 manufactured in August of 1936 (barrel code WE)
These early guns had three birds on each side with "the sportsman" on the left side of the receiver. Later production guns have two birds on each side and "the sportsman" is marked on the bolt.
28" plain barrel with modified choke. Barrel serial number matches frame serial number.
13 5/8" length of pull to original factory Remington buttplate.
Gun is in good condition for its age. It has honest wear and patina. The forend looks to have been refinished at some point and has a few small cracks. The buttstock appears to have the original finish and has scattered dings, marks, and finish checking/crazing throughout. It appears to operate as intended.
C&R eligible.
