Age is advancing on me and it is time for someone else to enjoy these weapons as much as i have. some of the weapons are rare, most are just nice old collectables. Description: Rarely seen Merwin Hulbert & Co. Junior Rifle in .32 rimfire caliber. These rifles where produced with no serial numbers on the early models. Information on the Merwin Hulbert rifles is hard to come by due to a warehouse fire in 1891. The barrel is 26 inches long with good bore, nice rifling and some pitting. Bluing has faded away and has turned to a fine patina. For a rifle of this age, it is in decent shape. The lever and butt plate have pitting on them. The elevator for the rear sight is missing. The ivory bead on the front sight is also missing. The forearm has cracks and a piece missing at the front end of forearm. The butt stock has some dings and cracks as well. Please review the photos as they are part of the description. Due to its ingenuity and rarity, the addition of this rifle would enhance any collection of Merwin Hulbert & Co. firearms. I do not shoot my collectable weapons. The rifle is sold as is with no warrantee. All used weapons should be checked by a gunsmith before firing. The weapon will be shipped to the FFL of your choice. Payment method: GunTab or personal check or bank cashier check. Payments made by check will be shipped after they clear our bank, approximately five to seven days.
