Rare Antique Harrington & Richardson - “ YOUNG AMERICA BULL DOG ” - small frame Double Action Revolver. First Model Solid Frame, Nickel finish, 5 shot — 2” Octagon barrel — Ammo used: .32 Rimfire. SN 2563. These revolvers were manufactured from 1888 - 1904 and made for black powder cartridges

Condition: 2 ” octagon barrel with a nice bore showing a very small area of fine pitting and strong rifling throughout. The metal surfaces retain about 90% of the original nickel and shows the typical very light scratches and handling marks for a revolver this age but still looks nice . Trigger and hammer look very nice and still retain the case hardened colors. Correct original grips remain in very good condition with a little of the original black color on the left grip starting to fade to brown. All barrel markings are clear and legible. Please judge for yourself from the photos. Mechanically the revolver works good in single or double action with good timing and nice lock-up. Cylinder frame could use a another cylinder friction pin to keep it from spinning freely backward.
This revolver is a complete, with matching numbers. Nice example of a very rare hard to find Bull Dog H&R solid frame in .32 Rim Fire and would make a nice addition to any Harrington & Richardson collection
