Beretta A400 Xtreme – 12 Gauge – 30" Barrel – Hard Case & Add’l Chokes
Beretta A400 Xtreme shotguns are widely considered to be some of the best operating, softest shooting all around shotguns on the market. They are top-tier, reliable shotguns that are easy to handle. The one that we have on consignment (serial number XA128643) fits neatly into those descriptions.
Ours has a 30 inch vent rib barrel and is chambered for 3-1/2 inch shells so you can safely run 2-3/4", 3" or 3-1/2". It has a fiber optic front sight at the end of the barrel, making target acquisition quick and easy.
The stock and forearm are a black synthetic that will stand up to the harshest of conditions. The A400 Xtreme already does a good job of recoil reduction but the Beretta solid recoil pad at the end of the stock easily picks up remaining recoil.
Included in your purchase will be 4 total chokes: Full, Modified, Cylinder and Improved Cylinder.
The bore on this gun is very clean and the barrel is very bright. The synthetic stock and forearm grade as Very Good or better. The recoil pad is Very Good also. Barrel finish is Excellent, as shown by the photos. The receiver rates as Very Good only because of a light scratch on the right side (see photos).
Overall, this is a great looking, well maintained shotgun in Excellent condition and the owner has priced it below where we would expect it to be. If you want a top tier 12 Gauge, you’d do well with this one.

This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not test fired this shotgun. We have performed our function checks and find no issues.
