Description:
The Browning B-SxS series began in 1971 and continued until 1983. This one is the first series with serialization different from the modern standard and is suspected of being produced in 1975. It is in very good to excellent condition overall, but it has been cut and fitted with a Pachmayr recoil pad. The length of pull is a bit shorter than most being reduced to 13-3/4 inches. The wood and metal are both very clean and only very minor handling marks in the wood. The action opens with resistance in the hinge, and it closes tight to the face. This is a good choice for a pass-shooter who isn't handicapped by the steel shot laws, but it could be tubed by a gunsmith, eliminating the problem. 12 Gauge
