Payment Types Accepted: Description: Smith & Wesson model 29-2, with a 6-1/2" barrel. .44 Remington Magnum. Blue finish. Manufacture date 1975. Serial number N383102. The model 29-2 is sought after by collectors because of it's unique design features that are not included on subsequent models: 1) pinned barrel, 2) counterbored cylinders, 3) oversized, wide target trigger, 4) target grips. 5) the firing pin is riveted directly on the hammer, not in the frame ("hammer nose"). The overall condition is very good with minimal blue wear at the muzzle. Goncalo Alves target grips (the old style, often referred to as "coke bottle" grips). Excellent bright bore with strong rifling. Grips are excellent, with very minor varnish wear that can be seen in the pictures.
