Fine original condition live pigeon hammergun with one of the earliest Monte Carlo style stocks. Full coverage scroll engraved jones underlever action with sideclips retaining much of the original case color (almost all in protected areas). Damascus barrels have stunning pattern with very nice browning and excellent wall thickness. Wood to metal fit is excellent, one small repaired crack on bottom of right lock plate (pictured) with no movement whatsoever.
JJ Langley was a noted live pigeon shooter in his day and was well known for his top quality competition SxS guns. This gun is a great example of his top quality work with original London proof marks and his patent stock for live pigeon shooting. Very similar in feel to a modern competition gun and very easy to shoot well.
