Serial number 996. Very early percussion gun made in 1826 and sold to Mr. Wagner as confirmed by Purdey's. Gun was traded back in to Purdey and resold by Purdey as second hand gun in 1844. Original case is serial numbered to the gun and is in very good shape with original ebony 2 piece cleaning rod. If you look close in good light you can see evidence of an acient wrist repair that was very well done. Beautiful wood on this one. Bores are good. Barrel address is faint.
