Lovely 1983 Distinguished Combat Magnum Revolver!
This 357 Magnum has a 6” heavy barrel with a bright excellent bore. Class-C engraved by the S&W custom engraving department according to the provided factory letter signed by engraver David Misiaszek. David further states the gun received a high polish finish, and the work was performed by him (per provided letter). Gun alos signed by engraver. The metal surfaces have loose scroll engraving with punch dot shading while the high polish stainless steel mirror-like surfaces rate excellent. The smooth combat trigger and service hammer retain full dull hard chrome finish. The grips are a beautiful set of Hogue hardwood Monogrips that remain in excellent condition. The grips have bold straight figuring and appear to be coco bolo. This gun features a red ramp front sight, black blade micro adjustable rear sight, and it appears to function mechanically. Little to no evidence of it being fired. This is a brilliant example of the polishers art with tasteful embellishments.
