Offered here for sale and just acquired is a DESIRABLE classic Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle new generation Ranch rifle manufactured circa 2011. The new generation featured a redesigned , more accurate gas system for better performance.
This specimen was acquired within steps of the original Ruger factory in Southport, Ct from a party who was well associated with Ruger employees and utilized Ruger firearms for many years. The individual acquired the arm around 2011 and chose to accessorize it with a factory Hogue “over molded” black stock as opposed to a factory wood stock.
The Hogue stock is made with a fiberglass-reinforced internal skeleton that’s then overmolded with soft synthetic rubber/elastomer. The overmold gives it a non-slip surface and a softer, grippy outer feel. Includes a soft rubber buttpad to help with felt recoil and comfortable mounting. The fiberglass reinforcement gives the piece slightly more weight and overall stock with surer grip. Many shooters find it more comfortable on long sessions and easier to control.
This specimen was well cared for and in excellent condition as far as any stock wear and shows little usage. We would rate it 99% condition.
A fine opportunity to take this out to the field for long sessions in differing weather conditions and ensure a more comfortable, more secure feel.
