Beautiful 1885 Colt Lightning pump action carbine in 44. The wood is in very good condition and has the octagon barrel. Gun has typical scratches, dings from something that's over 100 years old. This carbine has a 26 inch barrel with a very good bore with crisp markings. All markings are clear and legible. Barrel has 50 percent of original bluing on barrel with receiver and magazine tube being 80 percent. Gun has been well cared for and ready for new owner. This carbine is pre 1899 which makes it an antique and no FFL required. Serial is 9311 from year 1885.
