Description:
Caesar Guerini MAXUM Sporter with 32" barrels. 12 gauge. Manufactured in 2005. Only the slightest handling marks on wood and metal. Estimate 98% or better. Excellent like new condition. Well maintained by Caesar Guerini services. Defies its age. Bores are shiny and bright. Great looking wood. Non adjustable comb. 14.5" LOP as is. Extra Caesar Guerini recoil pad and a 1/4" original wood spacer are included to reach original 14.75 LOP if desired. Includes Caesar Guerini hard case, stock wrench, and FIVE factory chokes, plus TWO additional Muller U2 aftermarket chokes. C,SK,IC,U2,U2,M,LF. The bores are original .725, a European standard (including Perazzi, etc.).
The chokes are the corresponding Seletachokes, including the two Muller chokes. Later imports moved to the 18.6 or .735 bores common in the U.S. and those became the Maxis chokes. I can't tell the difference from this gun and my 18.6 Krieghoff or my 18.6 bore CG Invictus III guns in recoil or patterns. Lastly, this is a highly engraved side plated receiver. More wood is removed to allow for the side plate metal. This gun has been reinforced and serviced by Caesar Guerini, so the stock is stabil. This gem is a looker and gets noticed. Shoots great too!
