Description:
FN Belgium Post-War Hi-Power 9mm with a 4 5/8" barrel. The left side of the slide is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE / HERSTAL BELGIUM", "BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE", "lion / P.V" proof, and a "* / L" inspection mark for "Salmon Antoine 1937-1968". The left side of the frame is marked with "lion / P.V" proof, and a "* / L" inspection mark. The right side of the chamber is marked with the same inspection mark and proof as well as a crowned and ovalled "E / LG / *" proof and "CAL.9m/mP.". The right side of the slide, and right side of the frame are marked "59817". The front sight is a fixed rounded blade and the rear sight is a dovetailed V-notch. The grips are two-piece checkered walnut with smooth borders. This comes with a single "JI" marked magazine with an aluminum follower and a 'split' baseplate. 9mm Luger

Metal Condition: Minor wear on the high edges with light oxidation on the front and rear straps. It also shows a few areas of scattered corrosion freckles.
Wood Condition: The left grip shows very little wear. The right grips will show a compression mark in the checkering with a crack at the top edge.
Bore Condition: Bright bore with strong rifling.
Barrels: 4 5/8" barrel.
Triggers: Single trigger.
Sights: Drift adjustable rear with a fixed front.
