Description:
This rifle was built by Gary "Doc" White of White Muzzleloading. It is a modernized version of a .54 flintlock English Sporting Rifle and intended for hunting rather than traditional events. It has a half round half octagon 33" Colerain barrel with 1:66ish twist and Wedding Band transition. Bore is bright and shiny and rifle appears unfired. It has an L&R lock and single set trigger. The stock has a weather-resistant (enamel?) finish and Pachmyar Old English recoil pad. LOP is 13 7/8". Rifle weighs about 8.5 lbs. Very minimal handling marks. Three small scratches on top barrel flat forward of breech. A high-quality modern flintlock for hunting by a very well-respected builder who has crossed The Great Divide. $1100 + Shipping.
