"US Military Colt 1911 (L2025-09716) Serial number 425730. Made in 1918. 45 ACP with a 5" barrel. This gun has the “AA" marking for Augusta Arsenal on the left hand side. This gun has been parkerized for WWII, but is still in the 1911 configuration, not the 1911A1 configuration. THe checkered wood grips show normal carry wear. The bore has been shot extensively with pitting throughout and the rifling is light. This gun was most likely sent to the Augusta Arsenal to be parkerized for WWII, Korea or Vietnam. $1795
