Description:
26 inch half octagon barrel. Original sights include a No. 21 sporting front with nickel silver blade and a No. 22 sporting rear along with a Lyman No.1 combination tang sight. Full length tube magazine. Plain walnut forearm with matching straight grip buttstock fit with crescent rifle buttplate. Near excellent as restored. Barrel, mag tube and receiver retain 95% re-blued finish with the receiver showing some very fine residual pitting. Bore is dark, appears blued, with rough surfaces and worn rifling. The forearm cap, lever, hammer and buttplate retain 95% restored color case hardened finish. Refinished stocks are solid and full fitting showing light handling marks with the forearm having some scratches with finish loss mostly on the bottom.
