Description:
Early serial number. Savage Model 1914 Rifle in .22 S, L, LR caliber. Very nice bore and has a desirable Lyman Tang Sight ($200 value), front combination sight ($150), and the hardly seen Savage marked rear sight ($150). 24" octagon barrel with great markings. Utica Barrel address. Barrel and magazine tube retain 80-85% original blue. Receiver retains at least 85-90% of its original blue. Action functions nicely. Forend and buttstock are in good condition. Correct Savage Buttplate. This gun could benefit from a good cleaning and I think it would look a lot better then it looks in its current condition. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. Rare gun, this model was not produced in great numbers or for a lot of years. Way above average condition, most examples are brown with worn out bores. Please feel free to ask questions.
