Comes with an original Colt Factory letter (a copy of the letter is pictured in photos). Revolver retains 50% of its factory nickel finish with the remainder a nice gray / brown patina. Action functions very nicely. Bore rates good, showing the normal wear for the age of the item. Etched Panel is worn but still visible. All serial numbers and assembly numbers match. Original grips fit nicely and are in good condition. This revolver was shipped to Evans and Spencer in Salt Lake City Utah in 1887 in a two gun shipment. Evans and Spencer was a prominent gun dealer in Salt Lake City back in the day. This revolver was definitely part of the Old West! Please feel free to ask questions. I do offer a layaway and will consider trades. Price: $4,250.00 Antique: Yes |
