Description:
The Blue Book of Gun Values reports that approximately 18,600 Winchester Model 57 Targets were built. Our research found that this rifle was manufactured in 1926. It is chambered in .22 LR.
The rifle's features include a 22-inch barrel with barrel band, open sights, and left-side push button magazine release. The open sight will need spring repair. The rifle also has a Lyman #42W rear sight and sling mounts. Please note that no magazine is included. It retains its steel checkered buttplate.
This 57's walnut stock is in very good shape with typical handling marks. There are no cracks, chips, or gouges. There have been two small holes drilled into the bottom of the stock in front of floorplate.
The bluing of the receiver and floorplate is in good condition. The bluing on the barrel is worn in places with places of spott patina as seen in pictures. The barrel has been driiled and tapped for scope blocks on the barrel. Bore is clean and shiny with nice rifling.
This is an example would fill the Model 57 slot in a collection, or, at this price, is worth the sum of exceptional hard-to-find parts.

- We will pay the shipping insurance for the amount sold.
- Purchasers can request any long gun (up to 48 inches in length) purchase to be shipped in a hard case for an additional $30 fee.
- Additional fees may be added for long guns with exceptional dimensions and/or weight.
