The synthetic stock and forearm feature a Dura-Touch® Armor coating to improve your grip and overall shooting control. The stock, forearm, barrel, and the top and bottom of the receiver have a carbon fiber finish that enhances the gun's modern character. The Power Drive Gas System™ combined with the Inflex Technology™ recoil pad delivers considerably less recoil and less muzzle jump than conventional semi-automatic shotguns, allowing for rapid follow-up shots on fast moving targets. Browning's Power Drive Gas System operates with a wide array of loads, so you can use the Maxus for hunting anything from skeet to turkey. A vent rib with a HiViz® Pro-Comp fiber-optic front site and an ivory mid-bead allows you to point naturally and swing smoothly, while Browning's Lightning Trigger™ provides a smooth, crisp break with a super-fast lock time. The Maxus uses Browning's proven Invector-Plus™ interchangeable choke tube system that works hand-in-hand with the Vector Pro™ lengthened forcing cone and a back-bored barrel to reduce shot deformation and deliver uniform, dense shot patterns. The Browning Speed Lock™ forearm attachment system makes takedown for cleaning or storage a snap and allows for the attachment or removal of a sling.
