Description:
Austin & Halleck muzzle loaders were known for very high quality in their heyday. This example of their mountain rifle is in what would appear to be unfired condition. On close inspection it would appear that there is a flaw in the rifling near the muzzle, though it will not likely affect function or accuracy.
