This is a classic European sporting gun with attractive walnut and careful fitting typical of Belgian guild-built shotguns.
Proof marks / stamps noted include the Liège “ELG” oval definitive proof, a 28/70 chamber marking, and a matching assembly number “244” appearing on the receiver, barrels, and forend iron, indicating the major components are a fitted set.
