Description:
This (Japan) Weatherby Mark XXII is a semi-auto and single shot rifle in 22 LR. Single shot was done by opening the action and loading a single round, then to closing the bolt is done by pushing the right side lever forward to SS (single shot). Semi-auto was done by pulling the right side lever back to the Auto position. The left side of the receiver is marked "MARK XXII / U.S. 3.155.004" and "Weatherby / SOUTH GATE, CALIF. MADE IN JAPAN". The right side of the receiver is marked "N50603". The left side of the barrel is marked "CALIBER / .22.L.R". The front sight is a brass-beaded blade dovetailed into a serrated ramped base. The front sight is grooved for a protective hood "missing". The rear sight is a U-notch with an additional two flip-up leaves for elevation adjustment "75, 100". The stock is high gloss one piece skipline checkered wood with a Monte Carlo comb, pistol grip and cheekpiece. There is a thin brown rubber Weatherby recoil pad with a white and black spacer. The pistol grip has a rosewood grip cap with white spacer and a white diamond piece inlet into its bottom. There is also a rosewood nose cap with a white spacer. There is a sling swivel in the bottom of the belly and on the forend. This rifle comes with 2 magazines that hold 10 rounds. Overall this rifle remains in great condition. .22 Long Rifle
