Description:
This Colt Sauer Sporting Rifle is chambered in 300 Weatherby Magnum with a 23.5" barrel. The left front side of the receiver is marked "CR14181", and at the center is a rampant Colt logo with "COLT SAUER / SPORTING RIFLE", and a J.P. Sauer logo. The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO., HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A." The right side of the receiver is marked "Made in W. Germany / by J.P. Sauer & Sohn". The right side of the barrel is stamped with an eagle over "N" and a Colt triangle "VP" proof. The top of the receiver has a 3x-9x Redfield scope with flip up caps. The stock is a one piece gloss walnut with a checkered forearm and pistol grip with a rosewood forend tip and grip cap with the Rampant Colt insert, raised comb, cheekpiece and black rubber vented Colt Sauer recoil pad.The grip cap forend, and recoil pad all have white spacers. Comes with a single magazine. Overall this gun still remains in very nice condition with some minor marks. .300 Weatherby Magnum
