Here's one for all you left handers looking for a really nice custom rifle. This is a totally custom Winchester Model 70 in 30-06 caliber built by Neal Bauder of Sand Creek, Michigan.
The action is a rarely seen factory left hand action with a custom 24" barrel fitted with a red insert banded ramp front sight, a 100-200-300 leaf express rear sight and band-style sling swivel. Some of the action features include a controlled round feed bolt that has been polished and custom jeweled, a checkered bolt knob and a very crisp, clean and consistent 3lb-10oz trigger. The metal was treated to a cold acid rust finish which is a sign of a true custom build as it's a difficult and time consuming process and well worth the money is cost It's then topped with a Leupold VX-3 3.5-10x40 scope set on custom case colored throw-lever scope rings.
The exhibition grade walnut stock has a shadow line cheek piece, inletted rear sling swivel, an ebony forend tip, a fitted steel grip cap and a smooth Niedner-style butt plate. Of course, it also has a custom checkering job.
The rifle shows just a very few tiny signs of use and is as close to mint as you can get. I'm sure I've forgotten some bit of information so don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns or for additional pictures.
This is priced to sell at $3850 shipped to your dealer. Payable with USPS postal money orders, a bank issued check or a bank wire transfer. Sales to AK or HI would incur additional freight charges.
