Mossberg Model 640 KD - Chuckster - .22 WME - Bolt Action Rifle - Smooth one piece Monte Carlo style pistol grip stock with raised cheek piece and butt plate. 24 In. long barrel with adj. open rear sight and a raised front bead sight . Detachable 5 round clip magazine. Bore is clean and bright with pronounced rifling. Barrel and receiver are retaining 95% original bluing. Receiver grooved for scope. includes a Tasco 3x9x32 scope in good condition with clear lens and new see - thru scope rings. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Rifle was recently rated at 96% - 98% by estate firearms appraiser. Manufactured from 1959 to 1984. This one was manufactured in 1975. Rifle has seen very little use. Known for it's accuracy and durability. Collector quality.
