Chambered in 9mm, the 509 LS Edge features FN’s factory optics-ready slide with aggressive lightning cuts that reduce reciprocating mass while improving slide velocity and visual appeal. The long-slide configuration provides an extended sight radius and flatter shooting characteristics, making it exceptionally controllable during rapid strings of fire. The factory flat-face trigger breaks cleanly in the approximately 4 to 5 lb range, delivering a crisp, consistent pull that enhances accuracy and confidence without feeling overly light or competition-only fragile.
