Listing my model 88 rifle in .243, all original, I've owned for yrs, I collected them all and hunted with most of them, just time to let go.I doubt it's ever carried a scope or side mount peep but came from factory that way along with sling swivels and front sight hood, has the early pre-64 Checkering , not dinged up , this rifle, serial number 60245 dates to a 1958 yr of Mfg, making it a second yr production rifle. really fine condition as is the bright shiny bore. I have one 4 shot clip. Truthfully they should of kept building these rifles, still catch one's eye after 67 yrs of age. This was Jack O'Connors wife Elenore's favorite caliber. For you younger Gun guys Jack was Da Man ! When you talked or read hunting .
