Listing another model 88 but .308 cal rifle. The 22" inch barrel with front hood and factory open sights along with sling and swivels, has the early Pre-64 checkered stock a little lighter than the .243 I listed and some carry wear, I can tell you I bought this at a Pawn shop on the U.P. Michigan border about 38 yrs ago, I've hunted with it and killed at least two deer that I can recall. Shoots fine, never had a scope on it. Includes one factory 4- shot clip. The serial number 67089 dates it also to 1958. The situation in our area with the wolves and deer population doesn't pay to hang on to this many rifles. Also with an area deer farm that has CWD that the DNR seems to look the other way, money talks I reckon ! Anyway she's a nice rifle in a good caliber.
