Description:
1968 Browning Diana (Grade 6) Superposed 12 Gauge Angelo Bee engraved and signed. Engraved - 28 inch Rib Barrel and Fitted Case with a full set of tubes. This Suposed has been masterfully engraved and signed by A. Bee, one of FN’s most respected and collectible Browning engravers.
This Diana Grade features full-coverage game-scene engraving executed in the classic style: pheasants on the left, ducks on the right, and upland birds on the underside, with rabbits on the trigger guard all rendered in deep, detailed relief consistent with Bee’s trademark lifelike motion and balanced composition. The engraving remains crisp, flawless, and is signed by the engraver as shown.
Angello Bee was one of FN’s most respected Belgian master engravers, best known for his work on Browning’s high-grade Superposed shotguns during the 1950s and 1960s. His engraving is distinguished by deep, lifelike game scenes with exceptional feather detail, natural motion, and balanced foreground and background elements—traits that set his work apart from other FN artists of the period. Bee's Diana and Midas Grade engravings are especially prized by collectors, and guns bearing his signature consistently rank among the most desirable factory-engraved Brownings ever produced.
