Description:
Very nice example of an original Stevens single shot 45 Range Model rifle, based on the 44 1/2 action. Serial # 9851 puts its date of manufacture in the 1890's. Marked 45. Chambered in .32 rimfire with a 28" half octagonal barrel. Bore is in excellent condition. Action is tight and operates smoothly. Swiss buttplate. Very vivid case on the reciever with some minor use and handling wear. Bluing is very nice on the block and hammer. Case still very visible on the buttplate. Wood is in fantasic shape with original varnish and normal handling marks present. Graduated tang rearsight. One box of dry stored Navy Arms ammo included with the sale. Gun case include with sale as well.
