We have a used 1944 Remington Rand M1911 A1 US Army semi-automatic pistol for sale. This is chambered in 45 Cal with a 5" barrel. It comes as shown in pictures with (1) 7rd factory Colt (not era correct) magazine. This is in Good Used Condition. From what we can tell, it appears to have all GI parts, except the firing pin & retaining plate that look to have been replaced. It has a Remington Rand slide & frame and a Hi Standard barrel. It was a duty/department gun and has a carving under the grips that says “Bedford PD 7/1/1989". It has light finish wear on the slide and some scratches from improper takedown but retains most of the finish. Overall we would grade at approx 95%.
