This Winchester was produced in 1890. The serial number of this rifle is 351480. The Factory Letter states that this Winchester was shipped on September 8th 1890. This rifle was fitted with an Octagon barrel chambered for the 38 W.C.F. [38-40] cartridge. The bore is in good condition with decent lands. This rifle has not been refinished or had the surface redone The finish is mostly brown patina. The action is in fine condition with no issues. The sights are original to this Winchester. The stock and forend is in fine condition with the original finish intact. This is a nice original condition Frontier Era Winchester That deserves a place in a fine collection!
