Description:
This 1982 made Old Army percussion revolver uses .457 caliber balls.  The early percussion revolvers were called .44 caliber, but in fact they were actually .45 caliber weapons. These are the strongest and well made percussion revolvers ever made. It has fully adjusable target sights and is the prefured revolver for black powder shooters world wide.  The design of the cylinder allows one to shoot many cylinders before cleaning is required.  This is made possible because the design of the cylinder prevents most of the fowling from entering the cylinder pin area. Most cap and ball revolvers can only be fired three cylinders before they must be cleaned to continue shooting.  This is the reason that many Calvery troopers carried as many as four revolvers.  This gun comes with the original box, papers and nipple wrench. It has a 7 1/2 inch barrel with an excellent bore.  Use the ZOOM to check it out.

Considered antique, no paperwork in most areas.
