Description:
This is a very cool rifle. It is probably German or Scandinavian. I don't recognize the proofs. It is a fullstocked percussion rifle. The bore in its 33" barrel is very good. The twist is 1:66ish. The European Walnut stock is in generally very good condition. There are a couple of straight line cracks that ned attended to. Nothing that any shooter of antique guns will have a problem with. The barrel is held in place by two captured keys w/escutcheons. Nosecap is horn. The lock works fine. The double set triggers need some tinkering with. LOP is 14.25" .Rifle weighs about 8.4 lbs. An interesting big bore muzzleloader. $600 + Shipping.
