Description:
Remington 40-XBR bench rest rifle chambered in 223 Remington Magnum with a 24" stainless heavy barrel. The left side of the barrel is marked "223REM". The right side of the barrel is marked "B" in a triangle - R.E.P - 4". The left side of the receiver is marked "053082 B/ REMINGTON / MODEL 40XBR". The benchrest style hardwood stock has a fluted comb and pistol grip with a beavertail forend. The checkered rubber butt pad is marked "Remington". There is a cutout on the right side of stock for a safety, which has been removed. (THE TRIGGER PULL ON THIS GUN IS LESS THAN A POUND). This bench rest Remington XBR remains in excellent condition with a few minor marks in the stock. .223 Remington
