Description:
ON HOLD Very interesting specimen that has seen quite a bit of use but still has a very good bore and function. Wears a vintage Zeiss Zielsechs 6x scope with German reticle (heavy post and CH) in claw mounts and clear glass; was fitted with a Lyman 103 cocking piece aperture sight but only the base remains, the folding stem has been removed probably when it was scoped. This is being rectified along with the front sight. Original stock with some typical marks but no cracks, cut down to a shortish LOP with pronounced crescent buttplate fitted. Leather sling. With English proofs for a cordite load as well as nitro. 22" barrel with no front band, probably cut down. This rifle reeks of Africa.
