Ansley H. FOX XE Grade Sn 27350. Savage, Fox Steven's Factory Certlfied (Cody Firearms Museum Records), Letter dated May 12, 2025, reflects A.H.FOX Factory features along with the work order tag 20647-39, dated July 13, 1939. All matching numbers.

This fine A H Fox XE has a Single Select Factory Trigger, 2 barrel set:with dual Ivory beads:
Set#1- 26in Choked R-Cy, L-Mod.
Set#2- 32in R-F, Mod-Full.
Factory original XE Engraving shows very sharp and Factory case hardened and correct timed screws. Both the action and barrels reflect 99% of vivid colors and mirror bores with ejectors being in time. Both the stock and forearm still retain factory checkering as sharp and on point. Given this guns age and very light use over the past 87 years reflects a high grade AH Fox in near mint condition. The only exceptions are the buttstock has had all light handling marks removed and now reflects the beautiful grain and feather crotch wood featuers. A new Silvers Pad has been added (orginal leather covered pad with leather covered matching plugs accompany this gun to buyer).
This XE Grade will surely make a very fine addition to a Collectors investment or used to Duck hunt at daybreak and upland after lunch.
