Standard detachable box magazine capacity of 4 rounds. you can also chamber one additional round in the receiver, giving a maximum of 5 rounds.
Fine hand cut checkering on grip and forearm. Original Browning butt plate. It comes with a very fine Nikon Prostaff 2x7x32mm scope which was tapped to fit this early receiver. Prominently and reliably carries for years of hunting it is still in very good condition with an excellent bore. The rifle's appears to have been carried by its receiver on his hunting trips which accounts for its lost of blue. However excellent working condition with original leather sling. Excellent bore and reliable operation. Original leather sling and buttplate.
The Brownings produced in Belgium in the late 1960s are often regarded as desirable by collectors because they were among the first sporting BARs introduced after its civilian debut in 1967.
