Marlin Model 1897 lever-action rifle with a 24-inch octagon barrel and blue finish. The rifle weighs approximately 6 pounds and has a good bore.
The original finish remains on the receiver, while the barrel shows a pleasing brown patina, with some original finish still present. Overall condition is very good, with honest wear consistent with age and use.
This rifle retains its original pistol-grip configuration and remains a solid example of Marlin’s classic rimfire lever-action rifles.
